Our plug-and-play USB to DS-101 COM port adapter provides a seamless connection for Windows 10/11 systems — no drivers or software installation required. When connected, the device enumerates as a standard COM port, giving you the flexibility to develop your own DS-101 applications or use one of the pre-built, downloadable applications we provide.
Engineered for high-assurance environments, the adapter allows the primary fill port station to remain at a higher classification level while enabling a secondary station to operate at a lower classification level (e.g., Unclassified). A built-in hardware safeguard enforces one-way data flow, ensuring that no data from the secondary station can ever pass back to the primary station.
The adapter integrates seamlessly with your infrastructure, featuring full API compatibility with both UPhil and Easy DS-101 products. To safeguard sensitive material, it actively zeroizes after use, eliminating residual data risk.
Currently supported on Windows 10/11. A Certificate of Volatility is available upon request to support compliance and accreditation requirements.
The Easy DS-101 One-Way is a plug-and-play USB to DS-101 COM port adapter for Windows 10 and 11. No drivers are required — simply connect the device, and it enumerates as a COM port, ready for your own DS-101 applications or one of the pre-built, downloadable applications we provide.
Engineered for high-assurance environments, the Easy DS-101 One-Way provides hardware-enforced one-way data flow from the Fill Port to the USB host, ensuring that no data from the USB side can ever pass back upstream.
In addition to its security benefits, the adapter delivers up to 6× faster transfer speeds compared to legacy 9600 baud RS-232 connections, while eliminating the need for a physical RS-232 9-Pin interface — which is no longer standard on today’s computer hardware. It works seamlessly with ACES, DMD Power-Station, iApp, and Tier 3 devices including SKL, TKL, and RASKL®.
The API is compatible with both the fully featured UPhil product and the Easy DS-101 subset. The adapter actively zeroizes after each transfer to eliminate residual data risk.

This product is controlled for export under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). A license from the U.S. Department of State is required prior to the export of this product from the United States. Section ITAR 121.1.XIII.5.
