The UPhil Easy DS-101 is a USB to DS-101 adapter that works out of the box with Windows 10 and 11. Same features as the original Easy DS-101 but with a new rugged case, ruggedized USB-C, and UID sticker for inventory. No need to install special drivers or software. Windows 10 & 11 will automatically create a COM port for your existing or custom application to use.
All you need to do is to write your application to use DS-101 protocol over a COM port and the UPhil Easy DS-101 adapter will convert the RS-232 to DS-101 for you. It also works with applications such as ACES, DMD Power-Station, and iApp. The electrical data transfer speed will be increased 6 times or the standard RS-232 9600 baud rate these applications use today.
Buffers within the dongle are actively zeroized after a data transfer.

An easy to install USB to DS-101 COM port adapter. For both Windows 10 & 11, this can be plugged in and the device will be ready to go. No drivers to install.
This cable will allow the primary station to be at a high security level with the secondary station can be at a lower security level (e.g. Unclassified). The cable ensures no data from the secondary station can pass back to the primary station.
The API is compatible with the fully featured UPhil product or Easy DS-101 product. The adapter will actively zeroize after use.
Currently is supported on Windows 10 & 11.
This product is controlled for export under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). A license from the U.S. Department of State is required prior to the export of this product from the United States. Section ITAR 121.1.XIII.5.
